The manufacturer Akzenta Paneele + Profile GmbH grants for their products a warranty of 10/15 years from the date purchase was made at a specialist shop. The scope of this warranty extents beyond the legal regulations as per German law.

We herewith guarantee that within this warranty period the decor layer will not be worn, provided that it has been layed and cared for in an appropriate manner. This warranty is valid for all Laminated Floorings being installed in privately-used and normally-stressed areas, and if the following conditions are complied with:

Boards which already show visible defects before installation must not be layed. Therefore, a thorough examination with regards to material defects will have to be carried out before installation. If defective boards are installed nevertheless, all warranty claims will cease to exist.
Installation will have to be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s laying instructions. A sufficient device to collect dirt has to be provided by the customer. If the laying instructions should not be included, installation is to be carried out in accordance with the applied rules of trade.
The floorings may only be layed in normally-stressed living areas, such as living rooms, bedrooms, children’s rooms, dining rooms, guest rooms and halls. Rooms exposed to a high level of humidity such as bathrooms, saunas etc. are excluded from this warranty.
This warranty is not valid if Allegro laminated floorings are subject to extraordinary stresses, mechanical damages or if maintenance / care has not been carried out in accordance with the rules.
A product is considered worn if one section of the decor layer has been completely worn. The worn section has to be at least 1 cm x 1 cm in size. Wear and tear along the outer edges of the boards are excluded from this warranty.
Any complaint will have to presented in writing and accompagnied by the corresponding original invoice to the specialist shop within 30 days after the defect has been determined.
In case of a complaint, the customer will have to prove by producing one or several corresponding purchase receipts that the manufacturer’s glue appropriate for the product in question was used for installation and that all products used for glue removal, innitial cleansing / sealing of joints and subsequent care / maintenance are of the manufacturer’s brand and appropriate for the product in question.
Damages owing to the fact that goods were not treated at all or that treatment has been carried out in an unappropriate way, are excluded from this warranty.
Before accepting a claim, the manufacturer reserves the right to inspect the goods on the spot or to have them inspected by a third party.

Scope of Warranty:
In case of a justified complaint the worn sections will be either repaired or a substitue for the worn material will be provided by the specialist shop. The manufacturer has the right to determine which of the latter two options will be applied.
Any claims to charge expenses to the manufactuer, such as for dismantling, new installation and waste disposal etc., are excluded from this warranty. The same applies to any claims for compensation or reimbursement of expenditures.

If a decor cannot be supplied by the manufacturer any longer, the customer will be provided with the closest substitute of the manufacturer’s current range of product.

If a warranty claim has been accepted, the warranty period will not be prolonged by this. The acceptance of a warranty claim will not result in a new warranty period. Payments made under a warranty claim are based on the present value of the goods, i. e. during the complete warranty period claims for compensation decrease in value by annually 10 %, as against the sales price of the goods. The difference between the current and the sales price of the goods is to the customer’s debit.
