What guarantee or warranty do I have on the products?

You have a statutory warranty of 2 years. Depending on the product, we also offer warranties of up to 30 years.

Installation & technology

Can I lay the floor over underfloor heating?

Yes, our floors are suitable for hot water underfloor heating.

Is impact sound insulation or a vapor barrier required?

This depends on the floor and substrate. With mineral substrates such as screed, a vapor barrier is usually advisable. Many floors already have integrated insulation. Please follow the relevant installation instructions.

How much waste do I need to plan for?

As a rule, we recommend allowing for 5-7% offcuts. For special laying patterns such as herringbone, it can be up to 15 %.

Can I replace individual planks later?

Yes, it is possible to replace individual planks. This requires some manual skill - especially with click connections.

Are all floors suitable for damp rooms?

Not every floor is automatically suitable for damp rooms. However, some laminate floors and all CERAMIN floors are water-resistant and can be used in the kitchen, bathroom or hallway without hesitation.

Are the floors scratch-resistant and suitable for animals?

Our floors are particularly robust and therefore ideal for pets. CERAMIN also offers a high abrasion class for intensive use.

Are the floors suitable for allergy sufferers?

Yes, all our floors are low-emission and easy to clean. CERAMIN is also free from PVC, plasticizers and chlorine - ideal for a healthy living environment.

How do I know how to clean and maintain my floor properly?

Every floor has special cleaning and care requirements - depending on the material, surface and use. You can find the most important care instructions directly with the product or on our website in the download area.

What exactly is CERAMIN?

CERAMIN is an innovative, mineral material - PVC-free, odorless, dimensionally stable and fully recyclable. It is used exclusively for high-quality, sustainable floor and wall coverings.

For which rooms is CERAMIN suitable?

CERAMIN can be used universally - from living areas to kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories. It is not suitable for outdoor areas, saunas or steam baths.

How is CERAMIN disposed of?

CERAMIN can be disposed of with household waste (construction waste) if smaller quantities are involved. If larger quantities are involved, the floor should be returned as part of the factory's own recycling processes, as the material is fully recyclable.

What slip resistance does CERAMIN offer?

The surface of CERAMIN floors is very slip-resistant. This also makes it suitable for damp environments such as bathrooms.

Is CERAMIN lightfast?

Yes, CERAMIN has a very high lightfastness and does not discolor even when exposed to intense sunlight.

What is laminate flooring?

Laminate consists of a stable core board, a decorative layer (e.g. in a wood look) and a protective wear layer. It is a robust and easy-care alternative to real wood.

Are the floors scratch-resistant and suitable for animals?

Our floors are particularly robust and therefore ideal for pets. Our laminate floors also offer a high abrasion class for intensive use.

Is laminate suitable for all rooms?

Laminate is suitable for all living areas - with the exception of wet areas such as bathrooms with level-access showers. Water-resistant variants are recommended for kitchens and bathrooms.

Is impact sound insulation required?

Yes, this is either required separately or is already integrated into the floor. Impact sound insulation reduces walking noise and protects the floor.

How do I care for laminate flooring properly?

Simply sweep or vacuum and wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use standing water or steam cleaners.

How resistant is laminate flooring?

Our laminate is scratch-resistant, abrasion-resistant and resilient - ideal for households with children or animals.

Can I lay laminate myself?

Yes, the click system makes installation easy, even for DIY enthusiasts. A clean, even subfloor is important.
