Modular stand with 420 different, completely recycled unique planks

Cologne, March 28, 2023. The CLASSEN is participating in Interzum, the world's leading trade fair for furniture manufacturing and interior design, for the first time. The family-owned company is celebrating its premiere with a stand design concept that brings the wall and floor covering manufacturer's guiding principles – sustainability and uniqueness – to life in Cologne from May 9 to 12. The stand in Hall 1.2 can be assembled and dismantled in a modular fashion, allowing it to be individually adapted to the requirements of different trade fairs and presentation events. In addition, trade fair visitors can get an impression of the CLASSEN capabilities on 420 unique floorboards. TheCERAMINⓇ individual floorboards, designed using digital printing, are not only robust but also 100 percent recyclable. Thanks to their easy removal, the entire surface can then be reused or completely recycled.

420 single planks

CLASSEN is already using CLASSEN new modular stand design concept at BAU in Munich. Just a few weeks later, the exhibition stand will be on display at Interzum, albeit slightly larger at 145 square meters. The "Materials & Nature" exhibition segment is perfect for the long-established company from Kaisersesch. The patented materialCERAMINⓇ was developed with great passion at the main factory and impresses not only with its exceptional product properties, but above all with its sustainability approach.

CERAMIN®: A prime example of the circular economy

CERAMIN® consists mainly of natural mineral filler and polypropylene (PP). More than 65 percent of the plastic content is made up of recycled materials. This makes the floor and wall coverings healthy for living, 100 percent recyclable, and a sustainable alternative to PVC floors, ceramic tiles, and natural stone. Thanks to their robustness (use class 34 / AC6),CERAMINⓇ floors are particularly suitable for trade fair and shop construction as well as for commercial and residential areas. This is also because they are moisture-resistant and very easy to clean. At the K 2022 plastics trade fair, the machine manufacturer battenfeld.cincinatti had already equipped its trade fair stand withCERAMINⓇ flooring, which was then processed into new floor covering at CLASSEN in Kaisersesch.

Sustainable, powerful and with attention to detail

Visitors to the trade fair will be impressed not only by the robustness of theCERAMINⓇ flooring laid at the stand, but above all CLASSEN the fact that CLASSEN has CLASSEN no two floorboards are alike. The design of the flooring is based on local wood species, which are created using a digital printing process – the floor of the Interzum trade fair stand was thus fitted with 240 unique floorboards. This demonstrates the capabilities and attention to detail of the CLASSEN design department.

Award-worthy: CERAMIN tile alternative Tiles and herringbone laminate Manor

Two product innovations from the CLASSEN are in the running for the prestigious interzum award, which will be presented on May 8, 2023, as part of interzum. The expert jury presents the award to products that impress them in terms of the value-adding factors of design, sustainability, and innovation. These aspects apply to both theCERAMINⓇ Tiles collection, which has already proven itself on the market, and the first herringbone laminate collection,ManorⓇ

XXL and ultra-light: With CERAMINTiles, you can design and renovate bathrooms all by yourself.

CERAMINⓇ Tiles is a completely new category of tile. They are ultra-light, robust, and ideal for bathroom renovation or refurbishment. They are also available in an extensive range of different designs and formats. For example, despite their size of 2.55 × 1.20 meters, the XXL designs weigh up to 60 percent less than conventional ceramic tiles. This means they can be laid by one person alone, makingCERAMINⓇ Tiles particularly attractive for DIY enthusiasts and tradespeople. At the trade fair stand, visitors can experience all the technical advances of the newCERAMINⓇ generation with the new "Nuva" collection. In addition to an embossed bevel in the wear layer, Nuva is particularly notable for its XL formats.

Manor - the first herringbone laminate collection with ease of installation

WithManorⓇ, CLASSEN reinforces CLASSEN technological CLASSEN in the flooring industry.

The first herringbone collection in the laminate sector is being launched with a completely new installation system. Unlike conventional herringbone products, ManorⓇ manages without left and right planks. This not only avoids double stockholding in stores, but also the risk of mixing up planks during installation. The innovative fold-down installation method and rapid progress with herringbone and standard installation patterns ensure real ease of installation. The synchronized pore look underlines the naturalness of the decors and gives the products an exclusive character.

These and other innovations can be seen at CLASSEN stand B021 in Hall 1.2 at Interzum from May 9 to 12.
