CLEANING CERAMIN

CLEANING CERAMIN

CERAMIN are particularly easy to care for, durable, and healthy for your home. To keep your floor looking beautiful and maintaining its properties for a long time, simple, regular cleaning is sufficient—no special care or chemical additives are required. Cleaning with a steam cleaner can even damage the surface.

Advantages of Ceramin

Requires no additional sealing or protective coating

-
Use clean-off zones in the entrance area to collect dirt and moisture.
-
Fit chair and furniture feet with soft felt glides or type W castors.
-
Avoid permanent contact with rubber (e.g. carpet underlays) or coloring substances (e.g. hair dyes, disinfectants), as this can lead to discoloration.
-
For floors in bathroom areas: Immediately remove puddles or standing water—although CERAMIN moisture-resistant, joints and room edges should remain dry.

Regular cleaning

-
A dry mop, dust cloth or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment is sufficient for daily cleaning.
-
If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth - ideally with a neutral all-purpose cleaner or a pH-neutral maintenance cleaner.
-
Ensure that no standing water remains on the floor— CERAMIN waterproof, but permanent "puddling" should still be avoided.
-
For heavier soiling, undiluted cleaner can be applied locally with a soft pad. Then wipe with clean water.

Stains & special cleaning

-
Heel marks, grease or residues can be removed with a soft, non-abrasive cleaning pad and a little detergent.
-
Do not use aggressive agents (e.g. products containing chlorine or ammonia) on stubborn stains - these can attack the surface.
-
Waxes, polishes or care products that leave a film are not necessary and should be avoided.
